1. Siam Park, Tenerife, Spain – The Largest Water Park in Europe
📌 Address: Av. Siam, s/n, 38660 Costa Adeje, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain

The Canary Islands are usually exotic and attractive enough for visitors from Central Europe on their own. However, if you are on one of them, specifically Tenerife, you can spice up your stay a bit more with exoticism and fun. And that is by visiting the famous Siam Park water park.
This park is located in the south of the island near the town of Costa Adeje. It is about 200 m from the sea and is guarded on the other side by the high peaks of the local Teide National Park, towering up to 3700 m above sea level. The park itself is interesting due to its concept. It is themed in the spirit of distant Asian, specifically Thai, culture, as its very name suggests.
This park covers an area of over 18 hectares, making it quite large. It was built between 2004 and 2008, and the construction costs reached 52 million EUR. There are 25 Thai-style buildings here, making the park the largest “Thai open-air museum” in the world. However, most people will probably be more captivated by the amazing water attractions, even though the setting itself is certainly interesting.
Examples include the huge “lazy river” Mai Thai, the largest attraction of its kind in the world. Another fascinating dominant feature is definitely the Lost City – a slide city interwoven with countless slides and more than 120 play elements. And there is much more… you will see for yourself.
Admission: from 44 euro
2. Rulantica (Part of Europa Park), Rust, Germany
📌 Address: Roland-Mack-Ring 1, 77977 Rust, Germany
The town of Rust is located in the far west of Germany, right on the border with France. It might seem that there is no special reason to travel this far to visit this town, but nothing could be further from the truth. This town is a paradise of entertainment. We could perhaps call it the “most entertaining town in Europe.” It is home to the gigantic amusement park Europa Park, which is possibly the largest park in Germany and perhaps even in Europe.
To top it all off, an excellent water park is located nearby. Again, it is world-class. It is called Rulantica and is predominantly indoor – ideal for visiting off-season. There are 14 themed areas covered by a common “Scandinavian” theme. You will find several dozen slides and other attractions here. A lifetime experience is guaranteed – especially in combination with a visit to Europa Park.
Admission: from 32 euro
3.Therme Erding, Erding, Germany
📌 Address: Thermenallee 1-5, 85435 Erding, Germany

This time, you can not only have great fun with children or friends but also warm up. Just take a trip to Munich. And then a small detour to the nearby town of Erding, where the superb Erding thermal water park is located. This place offers space for wild fun, as well as rest, regeneration, and the healing of body and mind.
The complex consists of extensive indoor and outdoor areas, and the water park is carried on a tropical wave. In the entertainment section, you will find up to 30 slides and flumes and countless other attractions. There are tropical spas and excellent wellness with many saunas and other equipment. In short, you really have a lot to look forward to.

4. Zoomarine Algarve, Algarve, Portugal
📌 Address: N125 KM 65, 8201-864 Guia, Portugal

Portugal is a country with a touch of exoticism and adventure – it belongs to the less touristically explored South European coastal countries. Portugal offers countless beauties and interesting places. And it also has superb water parks. One of the best is undoubtedly Zoomarine Algarve near the town of Albufeira. It covers an area of 18 hectares, so it is definitely not a small park.
The park includes various themed sections and areas. The name Zoomarine is not accidental. The park also functions somewhat as a zoo with animals such as dolphins, sea lions, and parrots. There are many slides, as well as a wild river that will please dinosaur lovers (fortunately, non-living ones, unlike the animals). The pirate bay with a ship and shows is also attractive. You will also find a small amusement park and other interesting places.
Admission: from 27 euro
5. Suntago Water World, Poland – One of the Largest Water Parks in Europe
📌 Address: Nowy Świat 1, 96-300 Wręcza, Poland

Suntago Water World has one advantage for Central European visitors. It is located right in neighboring Poland between the cities of Łódź and Warsaw. It is a relatively very new water park, built between 2017 and 2019. The water in the pools comes from a 2 km deep well, and the entire area covers over 20 hectares, making it likely one of the largest water parks in Europe.
The entertainment section houses hundreds of palm trees, and the whole park is stylized in a tropical fashion. There are over 32 slides and flumes, including a 316 m long slide, which is the largest in Central Europe. You can also look forward to a lazy river, a wave pool, a large wellness area with a sauna world, thermal pools, and much more.

6. Aqualand Corfu Water Park, Corfu, Greece
📌 Address: Agios Ioannis 491 00, Greece

The island of Corfu is definitely one of the most popular Greek island destinations and is a wonderful pearl of the Ionian Sea. But you might not expect a truly fabulous, world-class water park here. Just consider… Aqualand Corfu hides over 50 slides and flumes, a more than 350-meter-long lazy river, a huge wave pool, a pirate island, and many other attractions.
Aqualand Corfu is large and excellently equipped – that is certain. If you are on a family holiday on this island, you will definitely make your children (and yourself) very happy if you visit this superb water park.
Admission: from 50 euro
7. Aquapalace Praha, Czech Republic
📌 Address: Pražská 138, 251 01 Čestlice-Říčany u Prahy

Is it even necessary to introduce Aquapalace Praha, one of our two largest water parks? Perhaps a brief summary won’t hurt. This water park is located in Prague’s Čestlice and its level of equipment and quality can absolutely compare with any other top park in this ranking and in the world. As for the area, it is approximately 1 ha for the amusement park section itself. The entire complex with a sauna world, fitness center, hotel, restaurants, and other facilities and equipment is even significantly larger.
In the water park, you will find 12 slides and 9 flumes, and there is also the longest Czech slide (250 m) or an incredible, almost half-kilometer-long, wild river. This water park is undoubtedly an amazing place, and a great advantage is that we don’t have to travel far abroad to get there. Just take a trip to the capital city.
Admission: from 56 euro
8. Tropical Islands, Krausnick, Germany
📌 Address: Tropical-Islands-Allee 1, 15910 Krausnick-Groß Wasserburg, Germany

When it comes to a magnificent, attractive, and breathtaking stylized environment, this water park is the ace in our ranking. As the name suggests, it is styled after a tropical island, and the environment is truly beautifully, detailedly, and precisely crafted… you will completely forget that you are in “cold” Germany, about 50 km south of Berlin near the village of Krausnick.
Tropical Islands Park near Berlin is mostly indoor, hidden under a gigantic dome, whose structure would certainly have been among the wonders of the world in ancient times. And you will undoubtedly be amazed even today. This “hangar” is 360 m long and a full 107 m high! The tropical world inside includes a tropical village, cliffs, a jungle, beaches, a “sea,” lagoons, and a heap of slides, flumes, and other attractions. To top it off, the water park also offers an outdoor section, which includes a wild river. It is definitely one of the best water parks in Europe.
Admission: from 37 euro

It is important to mention that this water park is only part of the extensive Duinrell amusement complex with an amusement park and many attractions, as well as a huge campsite with various accommodation options. This area is separated from the sea by several kilometers of sand and grassy dunes, and behind them is one of the largest and most beautiful Dutch beaches, Strand Wassenaarseslag.
Admission: from 26.5 euros
10. Sealanya Dolphinpark Seapark, Alanya/Antalya, Turkey
📌 Address: Türkler, Fuğla Mah, Akdeniz Blv, 07407 Alanya/Antalya, Turkey
The Turkish Riviera is a dream come true for many for a perfect vacation. In huge destinations such as Alanya, tourists and travelers will find everything their hearts desire. Hotels and resorts like in the tales of a Thousand and One Nights, a myriad of restaurants, attractions, amusement parks, beautiful beaches, and nature. Naturally, water parks must not be missing from the list. Some hotels even have their own, but there are also many publicly accessible ones. One of the most interesting is Sealanya Dolphinpark Seapark.
As the name suggests, it is not only a water park but also a sea world and dolphinarium in one. This park is located right on the seashore, and you can look forward to amazing dolphin shows. However, there are also slides, a pirate ship, and other attractions – all with a wonderful view of the real sea. A really nice place for the whole family.
Admission: from 60 euro
11. Aquapark Istralandia, Istria, Croatia
📌 Address: Ul. Ronki 1, 52474, Nova Vas, Croatia

In the heart of Croatian Istria, you will find an unexpected jewel in the form of a spacious outdoor water park, hidden in the embrace of extensive forests a few kilometers from the sea. The park is relatively new, only opened in 2014, and covers an area of over 8 hectares. There are 20 slides and flumes with a total length of around 1200 m and a huge wave pool of 2500 m².
This nice water park in a very pleasant environment is one of the best in Croatia and Southern Europe. Definitely a great detour and a fun day spent on holiday in Istria.

📌 Address: Ctra. Malgrat, 08389 Palafolls, Barcelona, Spain

About a hundred kilometers north along the coast from divine Barcelona, near the town of Palafolls, you can find the superb water park Marineland Catalunya. However, it is not only a water park but also a famous dolphinarium. On an area of approximately 4 hectares, you will find a large wave pool, wild descents, and long slides, as well as space for rest and relaxation. The biggest hit, however, are the local dolphins… don’t miss them!
Admission: from 33 euro
13. Caribe Bay, Lido di Jesolo, Italy
📌 Address: Via Michelangelo Buonarroti, 15/A, 30016 Lido di Jesolo VE, Italy
In the North Italian city and well-known resort of Lido di Jesolo, which is only a short distance from Venice, you can also find a very successful and attractive water park with the appropriate name Caribe Bay. Within Southern Europe, Caribe Bay, with an area of over 8 hectares, is a very large water park. But it is not only large but also excellently equipped and beautifully designed – and, quite predictably, in a Caribbean and pirate style.
This water park is repeatedly declared the best in Italy. You will find beautiful articulated lagoons, a beach, wave pool, about 30 slides and other attractions, a pirate ship, a rope park, and much, much more fun. This park can be unequivocally recommended, and if you are in Northern Italy, you should not miss it.
14. Energylandia, Zator, Poland
📌 Address: aleja 3 Maja 2, 32-640 Zator, Poland

Near the unassuming town of Zator near Oświęcim (Auschwitz), there is a megalomaniac amusement park of European, even global, caliber. Energylandia can be compared at first glance to Disneyland and other iconic parks. It has 18 roller coasters – the most in Europe. And you can easily convince yourself that they are absolutely brutal tracks.
But our ranking is not about amusement parks, but about water parks. The water park is also part of this 50-hectare complex. And it is certainly not small. It consists mainly of outdoor areas and you will find dozens of water attractions here. Nevertheless, its fame fades somewhat in comparison to the surrounding entertainment empire.
Admission: from 33 euro
15. Dalmaland, Biograd na Moru, Croatia
📌 Address: X Jankolovački 9, 23210, Biograd na Moru, Croatia

A water park with a dinosaur world, a pirate world, an amusement park, and a heap of slides and other water attractions for adults and children? Yes, all this is offered by Dalmaland near the Croatian resort and town of Biograd na Moru. The water park is again part of a wider amusement park, so you can enjoy all kinds of fun here, not just water-based.
Admission: from 24 euro
16. Djurs Sommerland, Nimtofte, Denmark
📌 Address: Battrupholtvej 3, 8581 Nimtofte, Denmark
The last entry in our ranking is the Danish park Djurs Sommerland located near the town of Nimtofte in northern Denmark. This is also a large and comprehensive amusement park, which includes roller coasters, a dinosaur park, a pirate world, a Viking world, and other themed sections. The water world is only one of them, but it still offers enough attractions – including a heap of slides, a wild river, wave pool, and so on. In the context of the rest of the park, it is definitely an interesting place, and if you are in Denmark, we recommend visiting this superb amusement park in addition to the famous Legoland.
