Who we are
SpaMag.eu is an online magazine focused on the world of wellness, spas and regeneration of body and mind. We help readers choose quality wellness hotels, thermal spas and relaxation stays in the Czech Republic and abroad – without marketing embellishments and with an emphasis on real experience.
Our goal is not only to inspire, but above all to provide verified, practical and trustworthy information that will help you make the right decision.
Our experience
SpaMag.eu is run by a team led by a wellness travel expert:
Lukáš Pavelka – wellness specialist and travel editor
Lukáš has been involved in wellness and spas for more than 15 years. During this time, he personally visited more than 150 wellness hotels and thermal spas, mostly in Europe.
His experience includes:
- thermal spas in Hungary, Slovakia and Slovenia
- luxury wellness resorts in Austria, Italy, Poland and Germany
- traditional spa houses in the Czech Republic (Karlovy Vary, Mariánské Lázně, Velké Losiny)
Each place is evaluated based on a personal visit or detailed analysis – monitors the quality of services, cleanliness, level of wellness facilities and price-performance ratio to create a comprehensive catalog of the best thermal spas and wellness hotels from all over Europe.
Expertise and methodology
Articles on SpaMag.eu are not created randomly. Each content goes through a clearly defined process:
- Real experience or deep research
We prefer personal visits. If this is not possible, we work with multiple sources, reviews and data. - Comparison and context
We do not evaluate in isolation – we always compare with similar facilities. - Transparent evaluation
We take into account:

Why SpaMag.eu was created
Wellness and spa stays are often financially demanding and the choice is not easy. There is a lot of outdated or distorted information on the Internet.
SpaMagazin.cz was created as an answer to this problem – we wanted to create a place where people can find:
